1 Erskine Bridge:

Opened in 1961 to replace a ferry, it links Erskine with Old Kilpatrick.

2 The Sugar Boat: The Greek boat Captayannis sank off Greenock in 1974 and her hull is now visible from space.

3 Cloch Lighthouse: One of four Clyde lighthouses, it sits just south of Gourock.

4 Ailsa Craig: Paddy's Milestone is now a bird reserve and was once used for granite quarrying.

5 Hunterston: A nuclear power station may not be everyone's cup of tea but it stands out a mile.

6 Titan Crane: The structure at the former John Brown shipyard in Clydebank is one of four cranes left on the Clyde.

7 Dumbarton Rock: A volcanic plug at the mouth of the River Leven where Dumbarton Castle stands.

8 Clyde Shipyards: The yards at Govan and Scotstoun - and Ferguson in Port Glasgow - are all that are left.

9 The Pencil: Commemorates the Battle of Largs against Viking invaders in 1263.

10 Crocodile Rock: Nothing to do with Elton John but a popular landmark on Millport beach.
