2. Kelly Marie: The Paisley girl made No 1 in 1980 with the hi-energy disco hit Feels Like I'm In Love.

3. Lena Martell: One-hit wonder who reached the top with the gospel song One Day At A Time in 1979.

4: Simple Minds: The former Glasgow punks got to the top in 1989 with Belfast Child.

5. Billy Connolly: The Big Yin hit the top in 1975 with D.I.V.O.R.C.E., a parody of the Tammy Wynette song.

6. Wet Wet Wet: Had three No 1s. Love Is All Around was top for 15 weeks in 1994.

7. Lonnie Donegan: Glasgow's King of Skiffle made the top spot with Puttin' On The Style in 1957.

8. Bay City Rollers: Bye Bye Baby and Give A Little Love were 70s No 1 for the boys in tartan.

9. Aneka: Gaelic folk singer Mary Sandeman swapped continents to take Japanese Boy to the top in 1981.

10. Midge Ure: The Cambuslang lad reached the top in 1985 with his solo hit, If I Was.
