6 Rome: The Italian capital is named after Romulus, one of the city's founders.
7 Wellington: The New Zealand capital is named for The Duke of Wellington, hero of the Battle of Waterloo.
8 Port Moresby: Captain John Moresby was the first European to see Papua New Guinea.
9 Gaborone: Tha Botswanan capital gets its name from tribal chief Kgosi Gaborone.
10 Pretoria: The South African capital was named after Afrikaan pioneer, Marthinus Pretorius.
