There's only one thing you haven't been able to do - play on the same turf as your heroes. Until now.
The Evening Times has teamed up with T-Mobile, the official mobile network of Celtic and Rangers, to offer you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Want to find out what it's like to keep goal in front of the Broomloan Road stand as Rangers' Allan McGregor does, or to score a match-winning free-kick at Celtic Park in the style of Shunsuke Nakamura?
It'll be an experience you'll remember all your life. Following your team doesn't get any more real than this.
Two full-length games will be played, the first at 2pm at Ibrox next Monday, May 12, and the second at noon at Celtic Park on Wednesday, May 21.
At Ibrox, one team will wear Rangers' home strip and the other will wear the away strip.
At Celtic Park, one side will wear the club's home strip and the other the away strip.
One team at each game will represent the Evening Times and be composed of readers and our employees. It will take on a side made up of Radio Clyde listeners and employees.
We have eight reader places up for grabs for BOTH games.
If you're lucky enough to win, you'll turn up at the ground and be shown in to the team's changing area, where you'll be provided with strips in the green of Celtic or the blue of Rangers.
Then, after your manager has given his team talk, you'll run out onto the turf that each Saturday is graced by the Old Firm heroes.
To make the experience even more authentic, the club's official anthems' will play over the tannoy as you take to the field.
T-mobile employees/guests will make up the rest of the 15-a-side squad. Based on past experiences, there will be lots of substitutions during the game, so that everyone gets a chance to show off their skills.
Celtic Park and Ibrox are two of Europe's top stadiums and YOU can be one of the lucky winners to say "I've played there" thanks to T-Mobile.
A T-mobile spokesman said: "T-Mobile wants to bring Celtic and Rangers fans closer to the clubs they love, and by getting them to play on the actual pitch, in their team's colours, we hope to make at least some fans' dreams come true."
Peter Martin is anchorman on Radio Clyde's Superscoreboard but is also a respected sports columnist on the Evening Times. Which team will he play for?
The midfield general laughed as he said: "I think I'll have to play for Radio Clyde - but I could perform a Maurice Johnston on the day and be paraded in one strip and then play in the other.
"I signed some sort of contract but I'm not sure it'll hold up in court ... so I'm quite willing to move over to the Evening Times at any point in the game, depending on the scoreline!"
Peter loves taking part in the T-Mobile matches. "It's absolutely magnificent. I get the chance to noise a few people up. And if anybody doesn't like what I say - well, this is their chance to kick me!"
Because of official regulations, the contest is open only to men over 18 - but women can still enter the competition. If they win, they can give the prize to a partner or male friend.
