The counselling project in two city schools will bring benefits, by helping the children talk about problems which are likely to also affect their ability to learn while at school.

The high number seeking help is a shocking figure, but shouldn't be surprising given the level of deprivation, alcoholism, unemployment domestic violence and debt that exists in the city.
