I AM in total agreement with K Paterson of Kinning Park, Evening Times letters on Tuesday, regarding the traffic flow on the Squinty Bridge.

Utterly baffling. As a cyclist, I cross the bridge fairly frequently. There is going to be a serious accident soon unless someone sorts this out.

SURELY there must be a full public inquiry in to the lack of basic treatment for Erin Sutherland who was suffering from severe post natal depression and ended up killing her baby daughter Chloe.

The reason we have been given is because Chloe was over six-months-old. What planet are "qualified" people on?

Do they not realize that children need more care as they get older. Once the public inquiry is over heads must roll and roll from the the top not the poor jobsworth at the bottom.

I REMEMBER when buses used to pull in to a designated bus stops to allow passengers to get off and other passengers get on while other road users could pass by.

That was fine as everyone just kept moving on, but this has somehow come to an end as millions of pounds has been spent on bringing bus stops out five feet from the kerb meaning that when the buses stop, every road user has to stop immediately behind the bus causing further congestion as no other user can move until the bus moves off again.

So with the bus lanes and now with the new design bus stops - what a shambles. Do the planners not think these things out first.

REGARDING probe launched following death of infants at Yorkhill, this is obviously awful and heartbreaking for the families concerned but it fails to mention how hard the surgeons and staff have it, the long hours they need to work and how many children's lives the cardiac surgeons have actually saved.

GREAT to see the motorist challenge his parking fine. I don't know how far he will get with it, but good luck to him.

It would be interesting to see what happens if it potentially opens the floodgates for other drivers as well.

Maybe if more people who were fined in the Hampden area came forward, it would help the case go further.
