TORIES must be an endangered species in Scotland. The Tory Government, like previous ones, have a pathological and ideological hatred of working people. They attempt to cloak themselves in a 'One Nation', we are all in it together deceit.

To champion themselves as the party of the workers is a sick joke when they have so much blood on their hands. To watch these Old Etonian millionaires braying and cheering at every knife wound inflicted on the young, poor, disabled at the recent Budget tells you all you need to know about these despicable people. But then again, Labour are no better.

What's happened to our Ayrshire potatoes I have bought them twice this year and they were terrible. At one time they could have been peeled with your finger. The ones my wife bought were green. Are they forcing them on.

Gordon Matheson's pomposity never ceases to amaze me, here he is once again, patting himself on the back for his "achievements."

What about the council tax millions he wrote off or the millions of pounds he used to bail out one of his "quangos" such as the carpark shortfall.

All of course at the taxpayers expense.

Just get on Gordon, with doing what's right for the majority of the electorate who may, just may, feel like patting your back, if deserved.

I CAN'T believe yet another office block will be built in the city. Don't get me wrong I know there is a financial boost to it. However, I was under the impression that experts now believe the best way to regenerate our cities is through building more homes.

Having people live in the city would also boost spending power and would bring a vitality to the city.

It's all very well having an office block, but the workers could be from anywhere and might not necessarily spend their hard earned pennies in Glasgow.

REGARDS the refugees racism story in the Evening Times, circumstances outwith this family's control have brought them here and we welcome them with racism, fear and hatred. Shame on us.
