IN the case of a hospital, Glasgow City Council should be told by the Government to refrain from their so called Green agenda and money making methods from motorists. This huge hospital, should have huge car parks in relation to amount of staff and patients. This should have been in the grand plan. Because of its nature hospitals require 24 hour good parking facilities in fact plan in at least a third extra. Have we not learned our lessons in Scotland, M8, M74, M73 all too small for 21century purpose. The kiddies in planning at the council should not be allowed out the sandbox.

I SEE the Hydro is up for another design award and no wonder.

It is an amazing building and a great asset for the city.

Some people have been critical of the venue in the past. However I think its is great inside and out.

ARE we institutionally brainwashed by the aristocracy? Here we are paying out millions of pounds every year to a crowd of folk that think they are entitled to leech off us until death just because they turn up to sit in the outdated unelected house of parliament that is the lords. Most of these people are only there because their forebears were slave traders who made millions from the government when they had to stop using people as slaves.Others were land owners who starved their tenants and treated their animals better not to mention mention the greedy, slum landlords, mine owners, mill owners, opium dealers, tea planters, and financiers. We have had to kowtow to these people and their descendants long enough time for change. Close the house of lords.

REGARDS the story about more student accommodation, far too many of these units are getting built. How about social housing for the people who actually need it.

You know the ones who are or have worked, paid taxes. This mob in George Square are once again getting it wrong.

It is also making students lazy as the accommodation is nearby where they're studying don't have to travel far not like the actual worker who in turn may travel up to 10 to 50 miles a day.

Get it sorted.
