BACK-to-front bus shelter - there are a few bus shelters like this, but there are also some truly baffling examples.
Most kerbs have been raised to allow easier access, particularly for wheelchair users. But some, like the one in Blythswood street, have the shelter, backwards, right against the raised kerb, so no way for a wheelchair user to use that additional safety measure.

WE have returned from holiday in Poole in Dorset. During this time we visited a well known burger restaurant. When paying for the food the girl at the counter refused to accept Scottish notes in payment stating it was company policy.
Rather than cause any fuss, I went outside to a cash machine on the street. I did point out to them that money from SCotland is legal tender.

SCOTLAND played the World Champions on Monday yet the game only on satellite TV which most people cant afford.
The following night on STV we are shown a meaningless England v Switzerland match live.
I thought STV stood for Scottish TV. why are we continuously subjected to this kind of unfair bias.
Who honestly believes we wanted to watch an England game as opposed to a Scottish match which appealed to the majority of Scotland. This same bias also applies to games involving Scottish teams in the champions league which are blanked in favour of English European matches. Where is the logic in these decisions. Play the game STV and BBC Scotland open the purse strings and let the people of Scotland view the matches we want to see.

IT is really good news that many European nations, including the UK, are at last agreeing to welcome thousands of refugees from their terrible plight. However, let's be clear that the UK and America are overwhelmingly responsible for the situation in the first place. Tony Blair and his cronies still have blood dripping from every pore. Cameron only changed his stance because he was embarrassed into it after almost racist rhetoric. The wealthiest nation on earth, America, is shamelessly turning its back on the mess they have made of thousands of lives.
