MUCH attention has been paid to the relationship between UK Culture Secretary, John Whittingdale, and a sex worker.
However, this is a story with more serious overtones, and one wonders if the sex worker is receiving support and counselling after finding out that she was having a relationship with an MP.

READING about Paige’s mum appealing for donations to help another child instead of funeral flowers (Evening Times online yesterday), even in grief this lady is thinking of another child’s needs.
Paige’s mum you are a truly lovely person.
Paige, God has himself another angel.
May you live the rest of your life in good health

THAT’S what all these folk who leave flowers etc at such events should do.
Give the cash to a charity or other organisation who need funds.
Flowers just lie for weeks and rot but cash does some good, however little it is.

WHAT a beautiful gesture by Paige's grieving family, what a difference this will make for this young boy.
A very caring family,
God bless

THE story about the Airdrie cabbie going to the aid of a young boy (Evening Times online yesterday) it was so nice to have a good story to read.
There are lots of good people out there but unfortunately we usually only hear about the bad.
I hope they find the taxi driver and he gets the praise he deserves.

THAT taxi driver shows there is still a bit of humanity out there.
Glad the boy got home safely thanks to his kind deed.
