READING about care workers in Glasgow losing out in the latest pay rise (Evening Times June 21), it is clear we are not all ‘in this together’.

Why do these arms length external organisations still exist ?

If any council employees don’t think a shake up is needed at George Square then they deserve all (or not very much) they get.

McAveety is having a laugh at all our expenses.

CARERS deserve to be treated with respect.

They do a great job and are a needed service for people.

They shouldn’t be treated like this, it’s not right.

SAD sad sad - their people do a very demanding job supporting people in the community and yet again let down themselves by a so-called “care” company.

READING Jeremy Corbyn’s attack on Mike Ashley (Evening Times June 21), he says that the EU is undemocratic and unaccountable, but then says it will be hard to rejoin it if we leave.

Why would we want to rejoin an organisation that is undemocratic and unaccountable?

I WOULD like to say well done to the Knightswood pupils who helped with a community clean-up (Evening Times June 21).

I hope the council’s land services take note.

Kids doing it by hand and you lot can’t clean up Knightwsood using machines.

READING about Glasgow Green boathouse getting a £360,000 facelift is good news. (Evening Times June 21)

It would have been great to see a cafe opened to public and a small gym out in open.

BRILLIANT news - with so many excellent young rowers in our midst at the moment.

Some real potential for the next two Olympics.
