CAN someone please tell Nicola sturgeon that the European referendum was a United Kingdom referendum, not a Scottish referendum.

In Sept 2014 we in Scotland voted whether to remain as part of the united kingdom or leave and Scotland decided to stay as part of the United Kingdom. I voted to leave but I accepted the result and moved on.

Now, in June 2016, we had a referendum on whether to leave the European Union or stay and we voted to leave.

If Nicola Sturgeon chooses to ignore these referendum results then I want to 1) change my vote in the Scottish referendum from leave to stay, 2) change my vote in the general election for Mhari Black SNP to someone else, 3) in the Holyrood election change my vote for Tom Arthur SNP to someone else.

If Nicola Sturgeon says she can ignore the results of two referendums, then why should I accept any result I do not like?

I THINK that Glasgow City Council could stop sending out their magazine to every household and use the money to cut the hedges and gardens of their customers.

READING about Ruth Davidson saying the UK government should not block a potential second Scottish independence referendum, which she would argue against, (Evening Times online July 3), you have to laugh.

The Tories up here are like fish out of water, their puppet masters in Westminster are tearing each other apart, utterly devoid of any direction.

What a dispirit babble of truth shavers extraordinaire who blatantly ignored the old cliche ‘ be careful what you wish for ‘ and they are going to continue leading up the government.

A LOT of people associate the Tories with policies designed to please the core middle England and Scotland being an afterthought.

That would explain why labour were traditionally so dominant. The SNP offered a refreshing change and hope to a lot of voters.

Once Scotland is independent and change is delivered, politics will almost be reset.

The Scottish Tories would probably do a bit better after being de-shackled from their Westminster masters.

Scottish Labour can certainly benefit from this as well.
