IT'S about time the ridiculous situation with the Kelvin Meadows is sorted out.

It seems like this has been making headlines in the Evening Times for as long as I've been buying the paper - and that's a long time.

Glasgow needs more affordable homes. Local communities need green space. Someone needs to make a decision about what's going to happen to this land.

I wonder if this was going on in Easterhouse or the Gorbals would people have taken such time and notice over it.

When the middle classes shout, they shout the loudest.

But good luck to them and my vote is to keep the Meadow.

OF course the actions of the dentist who reinserted the tooth back into a patient's mouth after it had been in the bin are appalling.

While I feel that justice has been done, I also wouldn't let him anywhere near my teeth.

But he's served his time being struck off and hopefully has learned a lesson.

I had to send my good wishes to Caroline Coghlan, the granny who's away to Malawi to help give free dental care to poor children.

It's very generous of her to give up her time, especially when she must have pressures on her with two children and two grandchildren.

I would love to do something like that one day and Caroline might just be my inspiration to do it.

Evening Times reader Alex Saville’s letter regarding motormouth Farage is a bit confusing but, nonetheless, if he is trying to compare Farage and Sturgeon for integrity I know who I would choose.
