Free drop off

READING about the plan to charge people for dropping off others at Glasgow airport (Evening Times January 25), this has all came about because a couple of eejits tried to blow up our airport.

It’s about time that the people of Scotland started to get a little back.

Why can’t this new drop off point be free, it’s not if the cars are going to be there all day.

How much money do these big companies need to make?

Shameful rip-off

ABOUT the airport drop-off charge, an SNP MSP, or the MP, could step in and say something about this shameful rip-off.

Glasgow airport is the worst in Europe and I have flown into just about all of them.

No matter what condition you are in, or how old you are, they force you to complete a long walk, often in heavy rain, from your transport to the check-in.

I also have been told by travellers that they would never fly into Glasgow ever again, and now they want to add to the confusion by adding an extra charge (tax) which on all decency should be be free to all.

This is something that even the Tories wouldn’t allow.

Nicola Sturgeon should start getting her mind on what is being done to the Scots here in Scotland, and start doing what she was elected to do.

Money grabbing

THE airport plan is just another money grabbing rip off.

No one dropping off at the present terminal drop off point hangs around for more than 15 minutes.

Like Edinburgh Airport which charges £5 for anything up to 15 minutes, then £10 for the rest of that hour then £20 if an hour is exceeded, this is a total rip off.

Non-minister

I AGREE with Karen McClay’s letter in the Evening Times (Janaury 23) that if Nicola Sturgeon cannot accept the result of the 2016 referendum then she should get out of politics.

I voted to leave the UK in 2014, but Scotland voted to remain. I accept that. In 2016 I voted to leave the European Union.

I would like to tell the First Minister she is becoming the non-minister, and this is from someone who rejected Labour and voted for the SNP.

Never again.
