READING about the latest shooting in Glasgow (Evening Times March 14), in two recent incidents children have been present when these attacks took place.

I’m very surprised it’s taken politicians this long to speak up about it.

I trust that in the background Police Scotland are working full out to find those responsible and prevent any further attacks.

Drop off lanes?

READING about the parents criticised for bad driving outside a primary school (Evening Times March 14), parents park there because there’s normally no spaces in all the streets roundabout, especially in bad weather.

The council needs to think about these issues, why not have drop off/pick up lanes or something.

Parents are not going to stop parking there, fact!

Kids need to walk

KIDS are going to lose their lower limbs from lack of use.

The idea a parent walking their kids to school just completely bypasses some people.

Crazy parents!

Report drivers

THE dangerous driving is definitely a matter for Police Scotland and I am stunned at the alleged response to the parent.

Any complaints re dangerous driving should be put in writing directly to the Chief Constable who will pass it down the ranks.

I urge parents to do this before a child suffers.

Separate us

READING about the plans for a second independence vote, Westminster needs our money.

We supply 40% to the UK and when you see where the money goes it’s disgusting!

Weapons for war and money to other countries. The NHS is on its knees in England and it’s happening up here and what they’re doing is cutting costs and in return having staff do extra work.

They’re trying their best to get the NHS private and that would be a nightmare but more money in their pockets.

Now they’re talking about cutting down the number of police we have!

It’s time to wake up and free our country from them.
