READING about the Gazza interview (Evening Times online May 8), I loved the guy when he played for Rangers.

I loved watching the Jimmy five bellies jokes, watching what the guy did for young footballers, he was a true gent and full of fun.

He would give you his last two Rolos but this guy has a addiction problem.

UK whitchhunt

HAS anyone else noticed the similarities between the US and the UK political manoeuvres?

Since Donald Trump was chosen as republican candidate there has been a witchhunt by the establishment and the media to discredit the man.

The same thing has happened since the election of Jeremy Corbyn as leader of the Labour Party in the UK, the newspapers and the BBC, which is mired in the establishment, have been critical of him at every opportunity.

SNP 'spent force'

IF the SNP are here to stay then I dread what Scotland will become.

The SNP are totally inept. A one policy party not interested in anything other than tearing the country apart. Our education system is a shambles with one in four children leaving school illiterate.

We’ve had the worst exam results since records began. Police Scotland are in disarray and the SNP want to meddle with that even further by integrating the well run transport police into the shambles.

The Scottish NHS waiting times continuing to rise. Wards are bursting at seams, operations cancelled.

There are no industries, no means of raising money other than by high taxation. The SNP are a spent force.

New catchment

READING about the ‘senseless’ catchment area for St Mungo’s (Evening Times May 10), I know of over 30 children still waiting to have confirmation on which secondary school they will be attending.

It’s ridiculous, the kids will miss all visits to their chosen schools with the rest of their peers and made to attend St Mungos visits.

St Mungo’s is a good school which I attended myself but the distance in comparison to other nearby schools just doesn’t make sense.

The teachers are having to deal with a lot of unhappy parents which isn’t fair on them, this could be easily avoided if the council would change our feeder school and catchment area.
