I must admit I'm at a total loss who to vote for in the election.

But what would help me would be if one of the parties promised to start Remploy again that the heartless Tories closed down about two years ago because it didn't show a profit.

This employment scheme employed people with special needs and was also a great social help to the workers. Around 1500 were dumped on the dole without any prospects of ever getting a job and slowly sink into depression and be a burden on our NHS for years to come. So Mr MP you know what to do if you want my vote but I won't hold my breath.

Last Friday I took my sister to her local Caulders Garden Centre in Erskine - we had hoped to have a look around and some lunch. When we pulled in to the smallish car parking area I was annoyed (to say the least) that four of the spaces were not available due to cars parked at least a foot over the white line. We finally got a space when a car pulled out but also noticed that the limited disabled spaces had only one car that was displaying a blue badge. When we went in I went to speak to someone about the situation but the 'manager' in the office was very uninterested in fact only shrugged when I suggested he sent a member of staff out to check and perhaps speak to owners of the badly parked cars when they were leaving. I even suggested that his head office might be concerned that business could be lost due to these inconsiderate drivers. Not wanting to rant on like a female Victor Meldrew - I would just like to say that I for one won't be back.

Regards Glasgow ordered to clean up its act over "silent killer" linked to 300 deaths a year, I agree with Councillor Alistair Watson that re-regulating buses would be a positive step forward, and I hope that the Scottish Government will explore this option. Technological advances have also been made in switching off car engines automatically when the handbrake is engaged, which will hopefully be adopted by all new cars.
