THE problem of wrong lights on bicycles will continue until something is done about it.

I am not suggesting that the police should go out tomorrow and round up any offender. If Glasgow City Council and the police could get together and place articles in all the local press stating exactly what the law on bicycle lights is, and advising the cyclists that they will enforce the law.

DOESN'T it just show the arrogance and contempt Glasgow City Council have for electors when they pay for a large advert asking for "objections to a proposed" installation of traffic lights at a T junction when these lights are already installed. What is the point of asking for objections when they know that the installation is going ahead whatever valid objections are raised? Meanwhile the Glasgow roads pothole saga continues.

On Celtic giving money to help both Fernando Ricksen and MND charity, it is a ovely gesture from Celtic. I hope we get to repay it someday with something similar.

THE Old Firm should make Stiliyan Petrov and Fernando Ricksen guests of honour in next week's game - even do something at half time for both players. Good luck to everyone for tomorow's game for Fernando. I hope he gets a good turn out.

Great idea for Hamilton Accies to lower their prices today. That is the way to get families and youngsters into the game in a friendly and affordable. It is the only way to bring young people into the game as spectators and players.
