People have to be referred to them by social services and many don't know how to access this help and children are going hungry.
I know this as I have to feed my grandchildren from my pension, it's either food or heating for them.
I hope Mr Cameron's children are well fed and warm as many children in Scotland are suffering, through benefit cuts.
Name and address supplied
I would like to thank Dr Bryce and all the staff in Lomond suite at BMI Rosshall for all their due care and attention of which my mother received during her eye operation.
The establishment was spotless. If other hospitals took a leaf out of its book, maybe we wouldn't have so many complaints about infections and non-cleanliness. Well done Rosshall.
Bus lane cams
Glasgow City Council recently announced new bus lane enforcement cameras within the city centre.
I am surprised they aren't being linked up to its new super hub camera centre to be used for public safety and reassurance. On a side note, thank you to Mrs Clean for the complimentary letter last week.
Rail link plea
I agree with your reader Mr Gibson, (October 11, Get GARL moving again quickly). What are our west coast MSPs doing? Nothing by the looks of things. We definitely have an east-west issue with regards to investment.
Left in the dark
Now that the darker nights are coming in, the council should make plenty of money as it is not easy to read the bus lane signs in the dark.
As the bus lane operating times are the important thing, I feel they should be in larger print. The problem with only having the signs on pavements, is that if there is a bus in the inside lane when you pass the sign, you can't see it.
