I'm a bit confused by the relationship between poverty and foodbanks.

What everyone says is "its terrible foodbanks are here. Oh no will they always be here." Poverty exists in countries, it always does. The amount of unemployed has not really changed in the past five years or more. Foodbanks are about people trying to help people. No different to the existence of charity shops and so on.

They are not here now because all of a sudden you have a massive influx of poor people. Take away foodbanks and you will still have the same poor people, they will just be struggling that bit more because no one is trying to help them.

On the subject of Fifty Shades of Grey, for the people who want to see it and enjoyed the books then of course there is no harm in seeing it.

For anyone who thinks it's wrong then don't watch it. Sounds like this film is being blown completely out of context. Just because I want to see it doesn't mean I think domestic violence is ok. These people need to get a life and just let people make their own choices.

I am sorry, but I have had enough of all this Valentine's rubbish. It is another commercial con and the card shops and supermarkets are raking the cash in.

I feel love for my partner every day and certainly don't need a set day a year for to tell her and pay for the privilege. This year we seem to have had every supermarket try to sell us meals for two with extra and flowers. You are not going to tell me it is all for love - it is all for profit. Happy Valentine's to you all anyway.

Regarding David Moyes to donate thousands for sports project at Glasgow park, I'm glad to see someone who's gone on to such big heights still remembers his roots and puts his money where his mouth is.
