I would like to say thank you to the Evening Times for the fantastic prize of the top 11 toys for this year.

I was delighted to win your competition.

I have given them to friends and family who have shown me special kindness this past year (due to a family tragedy). It was great to see their pleasure at such unexpected gifts. So thank you again so much. A fabulous prize.

Call the cops

The thugs who stole £400 that was raised for a children's Christmas party at Parkhead Community Nursery must have no brains.

It is a must that they are caught quickly and thrown into jail.

If anyone knows who did this, call the police.

Balancing act

Rangers' fans must never forget that the board, like all company controllers, have to perform a balancing act, trying to satisfy shareholders as well as customers (fans). Both are equally important to the success of the club.

Bus misery

AT a meeting of the Cochrane Castle Tenants' and Residents' Association, a manager from McGills buses announced they would be withdrawing their service from Cochrane Castle and Johnstone Castle to Paisley and Glasgow.

The community is very angry about this.

I use the service regularly to access services in Paisley and to shop in Glasgow.

This decision will cause travel misery for many people.

Save city bar

IT will be a real shame if Glasgow's Old College Bar is demolished (December 21).

The High Street, once the heart of Glasgow, has already lost many fine old buildings.

Next thing you know, they'll want to flatten the Cathedral for flats.
