REGARDS bus fares increasing on First Glasgow, did someone forget to tell them that inflation is at an all time low, diesel too and wage rises are practically no existent?

As for good value, I have to disagree with that with some of the buses should never be on the road - boneshakers.

SO Glasgow is to get a BMX bike track, the sport is for all ages any investment in this is a step forward for all to be more active.

Without this sport a lot of my friends would have gone down a different road in life it kept them of the streets and I met some great people over the years all over the world I now regard as friends. I will travel four hours to see this and race on it.

FOLLOWING on from the study about Glasgow being the friendliest city, my sister's children were in shock at how how nice people were helping them off the train in G lasgow. This came after being ignored in C heltenham and Birmingham as she struggled with four children one in a pushchair and all their luggage.

GLAD to see there is more investment planned on Glasgow's Subway. It is one of the best things about the city and I only wish that years ago someone had the drive to extend it.

We could have had huge spin offs if we had a more expansive subway route. It would have brought improve business links and we would have been ahead of our time in terms of helping cut road pollution if people had been ditching their cars in favour of using a first class subway.

IT is a worrying sign of the times when foodbanks are having to close due to funding. Just when we thought communities were banding together to help and powers at be were beginning to listen about the growing foodbank issue, one is faced with closure.

It goes to show there will be a problem if people become reliant on them and when they close - what will they do then.
