HAVING booked my tickets for Still Game, at the Hydro, about a year ago, I'd just like to say, the show was well worth the wait.
My son and I had a brilliant time and we would like to thank the whole cast and crew for a fantastic night.
We hope they come back again next year, as we have sorely missed them on the small screen.
Also, if my wife is reading this, and is looking to buy me a Christmas present -the DVD of the show should be out soon.

Picking sides
David Cameron promised more jobs for Scotland. What did we get, at a time when the NHS is in crisis? More jobs in the arms industry.
Are we heading for another Blair/Bush war in the Middle East? Will it be Cameron and Obama going to war?
Looks like it.
The Better Together crowd may end up regretting their voting choice.

Station plans
Regarding the plans for the new look Queen Street station, they're positively hideous.
It looks horrible when compared to the conventional and majestic adjacent buildings.
They should open up the view of the train-shed (station roof), as originally visible from the whole length of Queen Street, right, otherwise the station should be renamed 'George Square'.
As for their PR blether, I always thought the 'Gateway to the Highlands' was Perth.

Local heroes
the worthy winners of the North-West Community Champions deserve a big round of applause.
When people's lives are so busy, it is good to see people being recognised for the difference they make in their own areas.
