IS there one rule one car drivers and one rule for buses?

I know they are larger, and it is only courtesy when it comes to letting them out. I do that as I know what it is like when people are sitting on a bus trying to get home.

However, why do they seem to get away with running red lights?

One bus driver shot past me as I was sitting at traffic lights and ran right through a junction. Considering they have a duty of care with their passengers, surely this is irresponsible.

I only hope that their bosses regularly assess their drivers, who should be setting an example on our roads.

Payback time

LABOUR are ungovernable and will never see Number 10 next year.

As for Labour in Scotland, they are a standing joke now.

They really have turned backs on inequality, and in doing that they have turned their backs on every Scot and put a knife into the backs of the very vulnerable in society. The election will be payback time.

Labour's mess

RE the story on the Labour Renfrewshire council leader hitting out over 'unfair' budget cuts, perhaps if Gordon Brown and Alistair Darling had not went mad with the country's credit card we would not be in this mess.

And maybe if some Labour politicans would have the guts to speak out about the waste of money that is nuclear weapons there would be more to go around?

Split up £25m

IN relation to the Evening Times article on the £25 million underspend on the Commonwealth Games and Councillor Redmond's idea that the pot of money should go to Dalmarnock. Why isn't this being split up amongst the 21 other wards in Glasgow?

Burning fame

RE the burning of the Alex Salmond effigy: real fame is measured by who can't stand you as well as those who can.

Eck is doing a grand job getting up the nose of some down there and will do even better when he gets to Westminster.
