If the plan is not to integrate the pupils into mainstream classes, but just base classrooms within the school, what exactly is the point of re-location?
Surely the council must realise how upsetting this must be for all concerned.
I hope compassion, common sense and the ever present people power wins through for a victory that ensures St Oswald's remains open.

Cash goes east
Regarding your recent article on the rejected Glasgow Airport rail project (Garl). Does this Holyrood decision really surprise us Glaswegians when our tax money goes east to fund the new Forth Bridge, the Edinburgh trams fiasco, new East Coast rail rolling stock etc., etc.
I suspect the Garl project will return some day.

The big chiefs who run Hampden and the Scotland team do not give concessions to pensioners.
With an ageing population, even among football fans, more of us want to watch our national side. Why are concessions not given to pensioners?
Lack of benches
All the talk of the newly reopened Tollcross Leisure Centre being one of the best equipped gyms in Scotland makes me laugh.
For a gym of its size, why are there only two benches in the gym?
There's always a long queue to get a bench, sometimes I have had to wait as long as 40-50 minutes before being able to get one.
I, and others, have spoken to management but they don't listen.
As a member of the gym for 14 years, I feel so let down by the new Tollcross Leisure Centre. I will not be renewing my Glasgow Club membership when it expires.
