Regards the soldier hate crime incident, I don't know what was said to the soldier but I hope they catch this piece of scum.

Our brave men and women who in the past made the ultimate sacrifice for all of us.We should be proud of our service men and women but unfortunately we have idiots who abuse them. From the description given I've got a fair idea what was directed at the soldier.

Most of us support our soldiers. Keep doing what most of us couldn't do - putting your lives on the line for all our freedom. Thank You is not enough.

Labour have been in power in this city for more than 50 years and haven't delivered Crossrail. What makes Jim Murphy think he can.

Jim'll fix it maybe. And it wasn't Labour Glasgow who got the billion city deal clincher.

£500 million was from the Scottish Government. And the two cities have spoken of merging things before only for Edinburgh to pull out.

And Glasgow's motto - Let Glasgow Flourish and we are not sharing that with anyone. Under Labour it's let Glasgow rot. This is really desperate stuff from Labour.

Full sympathy for the Queen Margaret Drive residents and shopkeepers. The driving and traffic arrangements at Clouston Street are in fact dangerous.

Passed there last week and what amazed me was that there is a total disruption in the street with plant, barricades and diversion signs but no absolutely no sign of any physical activity from persons meant to be doing the work.

It was at 11.30am maybe early dinner but as far as I'm concerned Scottish Water should be going at this project 100% 24/7.

What an inspiration Matthew McVarnish is. The young actor really deserves his honorary degree.

Walking 10,000 miles to raise awareness of child sexual abuse was some achievement.

After two years travelling across Europe, I hope he feels his effort has been worth it.

It is a difficult subject to challenge, but he has certainly not shied away from it. A very brave thing to do.
