Bradford have been reinstated into the FA Cup after successfully appealing against their expulsion for fielding an ineligible player.

The Bantams, who knocked Arsenal out of the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night, were thrown out by the FA last week because they did not receive written permission in time to play Newcastle loanee Curtis Good in the second-round meeting with Brentford.

Now that they have been reinstated, they will now travel to Griffin Park on Tuesday for a replay to see who will play Southend in the third round.

A Bradford statement read: "We can confirm that on appeal the club has now been reinstated back into the FA Cup competition and has been fined for its actions.

"We deeply regret our breach of the rules and are currently reviewing our procedures to ensure no repeat of this situation."

The FA revealed the club have now been fined £1,000 for the error.

Meanwhile, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is facing the biggest crisis of his tenure at the club following Tuesday's penalty shoot-out loss.

The Gunners are also sitting seventh in the Barclays Premier League.
