End of line for Glasgow

Glasgow City last night went out of the Champions League after a stalemate 0-0 against Danish side Fortuna Hjorring, losing 2-1 on aggregate.

It was a much improved City performance against their hosts as they outplayed Fortuna for the majority of the match, but sadly the damage had been done a week earlier when a poor start in Glasgow put the Scots two goals behind after 30 minutes.

City head coach Eddie Wolecki Black said: "The best team has gone out of this competition. I think the girls have done their country proud."
