Swindon last night appointed ex-Republic of Ireland assistant Kevin McDonald as their new manager.
The 52-year-old, who was caretaker manager at Aston Villa in 2010, was handed the reigns at the County Ground after ex-Celt Paolo Di Canio quit last week.
McDonald inherits a Swindon side who are fourth in npower League One.
