Aird and his Gers team-mates take on East Fife in an SPFL League One match at New Bayview early this afternoon.

A victory over Gary Naysmith's side will take them a step closer to the third-tier title and a possible treble.

And the teenage winger, a regular starter in Ally McCoist's side in recent months, is concentrating on peforming well and winning games.

He said: "I just try to stick to my football. I don't really worry about anything that's going on elsewhere.

"It doesn't change the way I train or the way I play … I think that we all just try to focus on the football and let everything else deal with itself."

As well as League One, Rangers could win both the Ramsdens Cup and the William Hill Scottish Cup this season.

Aird says he is desperate to remain involved in the Gers first team and help the push for three trophies.

He said: "I would definitely like to keep playing. The gaffer is going to have to use the whole squad because there are a lot of games coming up.

"We have some massive cup games and games that count towards the league in the weeks ahead … everyone wants to be involved in and I am no different."
