Ally colts are yet to feel real pressure

Former Ibrox midfielder Charlie Miller has told Rangers' young guns they won't appreciate the pressure they're under until they are fully established in the senior team.

The likes of Lewis Macleod, Barrie McKay, Robbie Crawford and Fraser Aird have been given exposure this season that, under normal circumstances, may not have come about at this stage of their careers.

Miller was tipped for stardom when he broke into a Rangers team that contained legends such as Brian Laudrup and Paul Gascoigne.

It didn't quite work out that way and he warned Coisty's colts much more will be expected of them once they have made their mark.

"When you are young and first in the team, I don't think you quite grasp just how much pressure there is," said Miller.

"A lot of that is taken on board by the more experienced players. It isn't until you are in there a while that you realise just what a big club it is and how much is expected every week.

"You need to be in a winning team every week. It doesn't matter who you are playing, you need to be getting results. The more experience you get, the more you come under the microscope."

Clyde are due at Ibrox this afternoon and while Miller expects Jim Duffy's side to put up a fight, he is tipping Rangers to keep the momentum going.

"Rangers have found their form in recent weeks and have got to grips with the Third Division," said Miller.

"Clyde will look to keep it tight for as long as they can, but if Rangers establish an early lead then you could see it being a big scoreline."
