Bell has conceded only one league goal since making the move from Premiership side Kilmarnock in the summer.
And the 27-year-old is delighted with the form of the Rangers rearguard. He told the club's official website: "They've both started the season really well.
"They're both experienced players and Lee could slot into the team anywhere because he's got such good ability.
"For me, it's great to have two guys in front of me that I'm confident in. As well as defending well, they've done pretty well going forward too.
"Our back four as a unit has been quite steady and if we can keep them together for the rest of the season that will help us as well.
"We're all pretty experienced at the back between me, Lee Wallace, Richard Foster and the two centre-halves.
"It's good that we've got good communication levels between us and we all understand each other which is a big positive.
"You don't get many mistakes if you are all on the same wavelength and we've really kicked on in that respect since we've been grouped as a back five."
