IAN BLACK hopes he can hit the goal trail in the final few League One fixtures after his stunning strike against Forfar on Tuesday night.
The midfielder ended an eight-month scoring drought in style as he found the top corner from 30 yards to set Ally McCoist's side on their way to a 3-0 win over the Loons.
The champions have just four games left as they bid for an unbeaten third-tier campaign and Black said: "It was one of those ones where you know when you hit it that it's going in.
"I didn't actually see it hit the net so I'll need to get a copy of it and have a look back.
"It was pleasing to score after so long but it hasn't been for the lack of trying. My shooting has been a bit off lately.
"I always want to be on the scoresheet though and that's definitely something I need to kick on with in my game and improve on. I'll certainly be working on it next season."
