RANGERS midfielder Ian Black thanked the fans for the backing he received throughout his comeback match at Ibrox.
Midfielder Black, who has served a three-match ban for betting offences, was given a great reception by fans and played a key role in Rangers' 8-0 victory over Stenhousemuir.
He said: "It was great to pull on the Rangers jersey and get back playing again and I would like to thank the fans for their magnificent support throughout today's game.
"I know there are some who think I have got off lightly but I have held my hands up and apologised to the management staff, the players and the supporters for my behaviour.
"I just want to focus on football now and help take this great club back to the top."
