SCOTT GALLACHER (6) Had to be alert in the early stages as Airdrie caused Rangers some problems.

A spectator in the second half.

KYLE McAUSLAND (6)Must make the most of his chances to impress before September 1, but didn't enjoy his best 45 minutes as the Diamonds threatened. Better after the break.

SEBASTIEN FAURE (6) Looked shaky at first as Coult and Lister hustled and harried the Gers backline but grew into the game. Had little to do as the match wore on.

LEE McCULLOCH (6) Once again filled in at the heart of the Light Blues' rearguard. Decent performance from the skipper once the Gers settled into the game.

LEE WALLACE (8) The most impressive of the Rangers back four, the left-back marauded up and down the flank at will and had a hand in the third goal.

IAN BLACK (7) Given the nod by boss Ally McCoist after he hit the headlines this week but turned in yet another solid performance as his impressive form this term continues.

NICKY LAW (7) Former Motherwell man continues to shine in his new surroundings. Makes the Gers midfield tick and showed his class in the final third with a deft finish to make it 5-0.

ROBBIE CRAWFORD (6) Again utilised in a wide-right berth. Had a hand in the opening goal as he set up Macleod and got his first of the season with a well-taken finish. Decent showing.

LEWIS MACLEOD (7) Opened the scoring with a terrific low finish after collecting Crawford's pass and turning in acres of space.

ANDY LITTLE (6) Linked well with Daly at times. All but secured the points for McCoist's side just after the half-hour mark after collecting a knockdown from his strike partner and almost netted an acrobatic second.

JON DALY (8) Finally found the net in Light Blue in his final appearance as a trialist, heading home at the back post and finishing well across keeper Stewart.

FRASER AIRD (3: for Little) Handed a late run-out.

DAVID TEMPLETON (3: for Macleod) Had stoppage-time strike chalked off as ref Stephen Finnie failed to play advantage.

DEAN SHIELDS (3: for Black) More match time vital as he continues his recovery from a lengthy injury lay-off.
