UNITED STATES coach Juergen Klinsmann has named three former Rangers players in his 30-man provisional squad for next month's World Cup finals in Brazil.
Defender DaMarcus Beasley (Puebla) and midfielders Alejandro Bedoya (Nantes) and Maurice Edu (Philadelphina Union) will hope to make the final 23-man group.
Meanwhile, Croatia defender Josip Simunic will miss the finals after losing his appeal against a 10-match ban imposed by Fifa after he made a fascist salute in November.
