He will sit down with members of the three main supporters' groups - the Association, the Assembly and the Trust.

The location of the meeting has not yet been revealed.

In a statement, the Rangers Supporters' Trust, said: "All Trust members have received an email today about us meeting Rangers CEO on Thursday, January 30."

Wallace is expected to attempt to allay fears among supporters about the future of the SPFL League One leaders.

The former Manchester City chief operating officer has repeatedly stated he is keen for the club to engage fully with their followers.

It will be a timely summit after it emerged players were asked to take a 15% pay cut last Thursday.

The proposal - which was flatly rejected by Ally McCoist's squad - has led to speculation Rangers could go into administration again.

The Ibrox club is operating at a loss and financial director Brian Stockbridge has admitted there will only be £1million left in the bank by April.

It is understood fans' plans for a meeting with Wallace have been in the pipeline for some weeks.
