KYLE HUTTON hopes he can help central partner Andy Murdoch on the road to Ibrox stardom.

The pair have been regulars in the middle of the park for Kenny McDowall's side in recent weeks and have made the most of their chance to impress.

Hutton is on his most sustained run of games for some time, while Murdoch has been rewarded with a new Ibrox deal after catching the eye in Light Blue.

"I remember when I was a younger lad coming in to the team I had everyone around me helping me out and it was great for me," Hutton told rangers.co.uk.

"So if I can pass the wee things that I've learned and been taught and it helps him in any way then I'll be more than happy to do that.

"I'm enjoying playing with wee Murdy. I played with him quite a bit at reserve level at the start of the season. We got on well playing together there and we've taken that into the first team now.

"He is a good player and listens well. He's good on the ball, he has good technical ability as you saw with his goal against Raith Rovers."
