RANGERS legend John Brown delivered a petition to Ibrox today that calls for guarantees over the future of the stadium.

Nine-in-a-row great 'Bomber' dropped off the petition for club chief executive Graham Wallace.

Over 7,000 supporters have put their names to the online petition that was organised by fans' protest group the Sons of Struth.

The petition calls for Rangers to "give written legally binding assurances to fans that Ibrox Stadium will not be sold or used as security for any loans".

Meanwhile, Gers will travel to Canada and the US this summer. The Ibrox club has announced details of their pre-season programme, with Ally McCoist's side also returning to the north of Scotland for the second season in a row.

They will play Buckie Thistle on July 3 and Brora Rangers on July 6.

The League One champions will then jet out of Scotland on July 12 and will spend 12 days in the United States and Canada.

They will take on Ventura County Fusion in California on July 15 and Sacramento Republic FC four days later.

After that the Light Blues will head to Canada where they will play Victoria Highlanders in British Columbia on July 21.

Another fixture on July 23 will be confirmed at a later date.

McCoist said: "I have no doubt our overseas supporters will enjoy seeing the team in action once again.

"We have a wonderful global fanbase and I am sure the members of Narsa will turn out in huge numbers at all of our games."
