Lucky 13 for Durie and his starlets

After the original fixture was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Livingston's Energy Assests Arena, the capital kids instead made the trip to Murray Park for the Under-20 League clash.

And the Ibrox side made it seven wins on the spin thanks to goals from Luca Gasparotto and Darren Ramsay.

Manager Durie said: "Once again, the boys were fantastic tonight and they were in about a good, really experienced Hibs team from the first minute.

"They were here to make their mark and we're delighted they weren't able to do that because we played well.

"When we were sitting seventh, eighth or whatever, we weren't looking at the league table because we knew we had more games to play.

"We've caught up most of them now and the boys have a good mentality. They're in this together and they've a winning feeling as a group."

Despite Canadian kid Gasparotto heading Rangers in front early on, it took until six minutes from time for Ramsay to seal to win as he fired home from distance to clinch the points.

And Durie reckons the winning margin could have been greater after another impressive performance.

"Getting the early goal settled us down and the pleasing thing was our set plays," Durie told

"We had a wee chat about that before the game.

"We talked about winning headers in our opponents' box and it was a great corner from Darren for Luca to head in.

"Darren then scored a goal which capped a good performance from him.

"At 1-0, anything could happen and we needed that second goal so we were thankful when it came."
