Ray McKinnon's side head to Ibrox on Saturday aiming to become only the second team to deny the champions victory in League One this term.

After opening up the campaign with a comfortable home win over City, Ally McCoist's side had to battle back to secure the win at Glebe Park three months ago in a seven-goal thriller.

Macleod made his Light Blues bow against Brechin in the Ramsdens Cup last season.

And the midfielder is expecting another tough test as the Gers look to extend their superb unbeaten run.

"The game at home was a really tough game and the one up there showed how difficult teams such as Brechin can make it for you," he told

"I actually thought we played some good stuff in the second half and to come back and win that game was an achievement for us.

"It showed how together the boys are and when we were 3-1 down at half-time, a lot of people probably didn't think we had that in us.

"We didn't have much to go with but we came out, worked as hard as we could and got the result. To win 4-3 was great.

"I remember my first game for the club being at Glebe Park and crossing for Jig to head in the winner in extra-time.

"That match was hard and any time we've faced Brechin they've made it tough for us.

"In the last game against them we had doubts we'd come back but we played well and did it.

"It was one of those games where nothing was going our way and we started terribly so hopefully we do much better than that this weekend."
