KENNY MILLER will return to the Rangers' squad for the crucial Championship clash with Falkirk this weekend.

The striker missed the 3-1 win over Dumbarton last Saturday with a muscle injury and saw replacement Ryan Hardie bag a brace at the Rock.

His return to fitness leaves boss Stuart McCall with a selection dilemma for the game that could see Rangers clinch second spot in the standings.

A victory for the Light Blues coupled with a defeat for Hibernian at home to Alloa will be enough to see McCall's side over the line.

Midfielder Ian Black drops out of contention for the Bairns battle but two Ibrox stars have stepped up their recovery bids.

McCall said: "I think that wee Blackie is missing with a suspension this weekend. He's been on the bench of late, but he'll be out for the game.

"Jon Daly has started back in training with us this weekend, as has Richard Foster, so that is a plus.

"Seb Faure is still out as is Steven Smith. Kenny Miller will be fine, he had a hamstring strain, but he will be back available - so we'll have some tough decisions to make.

"I think that everyone else in the squad is doing fine. We actually have quite a fit and healthy squad when you start to get players back."

After dropping points to Queen of the South and Livingston in successive away games, Rangers got back on track with a deserved win at the Rock last weekend.

And McCall is determined to keep moving in the right direction as the finishing line approaches this term.

"We said at the beginning when we came in that there'd be ups and downs - the first two games we'd probably look at as being downs and then we had a good run before being beaten at Queen of the South and that'll be the case between now and the end of the season," he told rangers.co.uk.

"There'll maybe be times when we could have done better, but at this stage of the season it's all about results."
