NEIL ALEXANDER has backed Rangers team-mate Lee Wallace to win a recall to the Scotland squad after being snubbed by new boss Gordon Strachan, writes Chris Jack.
The left-back was in Strachan's first squad for the friendly with Estonia but has not made the cut for the World Cup double header against Wales and Serbia.
Alexander said: "The Scotland manager has his own reasons for the selections he made for the qualifiers.
"I think Lee Wallace is one of the best left backs in the country. He will be Scotland regular, I have no doubts about that."
