No Rangers heroes in lacklustre display

BELL (6) Busier after the break and made a few decent stops.

Unlucky to see Baird convert the winner after saving from Spence.

FOSTER (4) Frustrated the Light Blue legions with slack distribution at times and rarely threatened in the final third. Switched to left-back following Wallace's injury-enforced departure.

MOHSNI (5) Spurned two glorious chances when getting on the end of Smith free-kicks and the second, with minutes left, was from only a couple of yards out.

McCULLOCH (6) Solid and commanding at the heart of the Rangers rearguard but survived a handball penalty scare.

WALLACE (6) One of the better performers in Rangers' poor first half. Picked up a knock shortly after the break and forced off.

BLACK (5) Involved in most of the tussles in the middle of the park and picked up a needless booking in the second half.

AIRD (6) Took a while to get going but turned into one of Rangers' better players on the day. Always keen to get forward and try and make things happen in the final third.

HUTTON (5) Handed a holding role alongside Black to shore up midfield. Replaced on the hour with more creativity needed.

SMITH (4) The surprise selection of the afternoon for McCoist as he took up a left midfield berth. Came close with a terrific free-kick just before the break but offered little going forward.

LAW (5) Would have been expected to provide a cutting edge from just off Daly but didn't influence the game as he should have. Cracked the post midway through first period of extra-time.

DALY (5) The focal point of the Light Blue forward line, the striker was too often left with little support as he battled in the air, leaving him with few chances.

CLARK (for Hutton, 6) Made a difference to the Rangers attacking line. Came close with a header and low shot and one of few positives for McCoist.

FAURE (for Wallace, 4) On at right-back as McCoist shuffled his pack in the aftermath of Wallace's departure. Decent performance from the Frenchman.

GALLAGHER (for Smith, 2) Given a rousing reception by the Gers fans but couldn't find a goal late on.
