ALLY McCOIST is looking for a win tonight in Kirkcaldy to wash away some of the bitter taste of defeat from last season's Ramsden's Cup Final.
The Rangers boss admitted the extra-time loss to Raith Rovers at Easter Road in April still haunted him. But he denied he was looking for vengeance against Grant Murray's men.
He said: "Losing the cup final to Raith last season was a big disappointment. We didn't play well that day, but we felt we should still have won.
"It was really, really sore. It was a painful experience for a lot of the boys who hadn't experienced losing a massive game for Rangers.
"I don't like the word revenge in football, but I still haven't forgotten that sour taste that was with us at Easter Road.
"It would be nice for us to get a better result against them this time round at Stark's Park."
