RANGERS will discover today the extent of the injury sustained by keeper Cammy Bell in the win over Falkirk last week.
The Ibrox No.1 missed the 8-1 rout of Clyde in the Petrofac Training Cup last night as Steve Simonsen filled in between the sticks for the first time this term.
Boss Ally McCoist was also without defender Richard Foster and midfielder Ian Black, who was only fit enough for a place on the bench, as his side eased past the Bully Wee and into the third round of the competition.
Bell pulled off a series of superb saves to deny the Bairns on Friday night as Rangers collected their first win of the Championship campaign.
And boss McCoist will be hoping for good news as Rangers await full diagnoses of a shoulder injury he sustained early on at the Falkirk Stadium.
He said: "He is going to see a specialist [today]. He picked up an injury in the first minute of the game at Falkirk.
"In training the following day, he didn't feel comfortable with it.
"He went to see a specialist and he is going for a scan [today]. We will know better how we are placed [today]."
