Derek Johnstone: Black should keep quiet and just play

IAN Black has been hit with another ban having picked up a sixth booking of the league season against Annan.

The bookings keep mounting for Ian Black

But I think he has calmed down since he signed for Rangers in the summer.

When Black agreed to move to the Ibrox club, I thought he was the sort to add steel to the Gers team.

However, Ally McCoist's young side like to get the ball down and play football.

And Ian has been upset at the treatment he has been receiving in the Third Division.

There is no point in moaning as he has done at times. The more you do that the more the opposition target you.

Black has been sinned against more than he has been the sinner in recent weeks.

In the Queen's Park game on Saturday there were some very bad challenges.

One home player was sent off. It could have been more. Rangers players have been kicked off the park this season.
