My memory isn't what it was but the one that sticks in my mind was Forfar and not only did they nearly beat us but if they had it would have cost us a treble.
That was back in the League Cup semi-finals in 1977–78, when I think they were two minutes away from beating us in regulation time and we won 5–2 after extra time. I don't think I could ever have looked at a bridie again if we'd lost that one.
