I THOUGHT the comments from Roy MacGregor in the papers yesterday were outrageous to be honest.

Rangers are being battered from all quarters at the moment and the last thing they need are people from Ross County having a go.

It is not our fault if County only get a couple of thousand fans at their games or that the SPFL can't attract sponsors to the game. It is up to the clubs and the league to make the game more attractive, not for Rangers to do it for them.

Yes, we have our problems at the moment. But you can't blame Scottish football's problems on us.

Even if Rangers were in the Premiership, County are struggling to get fans through the gate, as are Inverness, as are St Johnstone. What messages are they sending out?

There are a lot of teams struggling to get fans in and it is not because Rangers are not there. It is because they want to see good, entertaining football and Ross County, who are bottom of the league and could well be relegated, are not doing that.

I think it is a bit much for him to blame the problems of Scottish football on Rangers. He should look on his own doorstep first before he starts pointing figures at us.

If Rangers are back in the Premiership next year, it will be great for these clubs because the fans will travel and they will make a bit of money.

But we can't be interested in what they do. We can only focus on ourselves and how we can move forward on and off the park.

Nobody has given a toss about us for the last four years. It is not a case about what is good for Scottish football, it is about what is good for Rangers Football Club and how we go forward.
