JASON McPHERSON from Toryglen asked Derek: "Apart from the obvious, what is the League Cup highlight of your career?"
Derek said: "I have won the League Cup final three times and lost it three times.
"Netting the winner in the 1970 final as a teenager was immense. But I also enjoyed the 1979 triumph over Aberdeen a great deal.
"That was a fantastic game and a sweet victory. The Dons were an emerging side at that time and were very useful.
"They were managed by Alex Ferguson and had Stevie Archibald, Alex McLeish, Willie Miller and Gordon Strachan at their disposal.
"Goals from big Colin Jackson and wee Alex MacDonald gave us the win."
